1. Megahome Buyer Protection
Megahome Buyer Protection is an exclusive privilege provided by the organizer of Megahome Exhibition, offering assurance that every item exhibited by the sellers during the event is genuine and guaranteed to be delivered to your home after purchase. Our aim is to ensure worry-free shopping for you!
2. Types of Protection Provided:
Megahome Buyer Protection offers coverage in case ANY ONE of the following problems occurs during your purchase at Megahome Exhibition:

NON-DELIVERY
"Item NOT Received": If you have paid for a product but did not receive it, and the Seller Company can no longer be reached or no longer exists. -
COUNTERFEIT
"Item NOT Genuine": If the product you purchased is proven to be non-genuine or counterfeit after receiving it, provided that you were misled to believe it was genuine during your purchase.
3. What Compensation Can I Receive?
- If any of the claims mentioned in paragraph 2 are proven to be true and valid, subject to paragraph 4 below, you are entitled to receive a REFUND equal to the transacted amount made at Megahome Exhibition. The refund will be provided strictly in the form of a "CASH VOUCHER," with a maximum value of RM2,000.00 per case.
- The "CASH VOUCHER" can only be redeemed for the purchase of items at Megahome Exhibition, and it will be deducted from the purchase price of the products.
- The received "CASH VOUCHER" is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- The total claim for compensation under Megahome Buyer Protection is limited to a maximum of RM2,500.00, and the maximum value of the cash voucher per case will not exceed RM2,500.00.
4. Eligibility Requirements
- Valid ONLY for products purchased during Megahome Exhibition. Any products purchased after the Megahome Exhibition will not be covered by Megahome Buyer Protection.
- You must provide ORIGINAL DOCUMENTATION (e.g., receipts and bank slips) with a CLEAR transaction date and the amount paid to the organizer. Any fake, unrecognized, or illegible receipts or transactions that were not made during Megahome Exhibition will not be accepted, and refund claims will be immediately rejected.
- Products purchased from exhibitor's own outlets, showrooms, or other premises not within the premises of Megahome Exhibition are expressly excluded from Megahome Buyer Protection coverage.

Megahome Buyer Protection DOES NOT COVER:
- Damages, defects, or loss of products, or theft during the course of product delivery.
- All costs, expenses, and other losses related to the delivery of the products, which will be solely borne by the buyer at all times.
- The claim for a refund must comply with all other relevant rules and policies of the Megahome platform.
- Upon receiving a valid claim for a refund, Megahome will conduct an investigation and request supporting documents from both the buyer and the seller, as deemed necessary by Megahome, to make a determination based on the evidence received.
- Fraudulent charges were made to a credit card. If you notice any unauthorized charges to your account or credit card, you must report them immediately to the bank that issued the credit card.
- Orders or payments were made outside of or not in connection with Megahome Exhibition.
- Conflicting claims against the records of the delivery company indicating that the products have been delivered.
- The item was delivered, and you rejected it for any reason.
- The item was damaged, lost, or stolen.
You are NOT eligible for Megahome Buyer Protection if:
5. What is the validity of the "CASH VOUCHER"?
- The "CASH VOUCHER" received through Megahome Buyer Protection is ONLY valid for use during the ongoing event of Megahome Exhibition.
- Any damage or loss of the "CASH VOUCHER" will not be entertained after it has been issued through Megahome Buyer Protection.
6. Who is eligible for Megahome Buyer Protection?
- Anyone who purchased product(s) from exhibitors at Megahome Exhibition is entitled to Megahome Buyer Protection for those said product(s) by registering with the Megahome Exhibition Organizer.
- Megahome Buyer Protection is provided free of charge by the organizer to any customers who made a purchase at Megahome Exhibition.
- Megahome Buyer Protection is applicable to both Malaysians and non-Malaysians.
7. General
MEGAHOME BUYER PROTECTION Programme Terms & Conditions
7.1 ABOUT THE MEGAHOME BUYER PROTECTION PROGRAMME
- 7.1.1The Megahome Buyer Protection Programme is not an insurance product, product warranty, or guarantee.
- 7.1.2The Megahome Buyer Protection Programme does not provide insurance services.
- 7.1.3The Megahome Buyer Protection Programme is intended to enhance the buyer's experiences. It is offered at no cost to the buyer.
7.2 WHEN CAN BUYERS CLAIM UNDER THE MEGAHOME BUYER PROTECTION PROGRAMME?
- 7.2.1If the buyer does not receive the purchased item, and the seller company is no longer reachable or does not exist, provided that the seller cannot provide Megahome with any proof of shipment of the item, and subject to other conditions stated herein.
- 7.2.2If the item received by the buyer is proven to be non-genuine or counterfeit (Grey Products are not classified as fake or counterfeit).
7.3 SPECIFIC EXCLUSIONS
Megahome will not provide cover under the Buyer Protection Programme in the following cases:
- 7.3.1Orders or payments made outside of Megahome Exhibition.
- 7.3.2Claims that an item was not delivered when the shipping company's records show that it was.
- 7.3.3The buyer rejects the item for any reason after purchasing it.
- 7.3.4The seller has agreed to or arranged for delivery.
- 7.3.5The claim relates to the quality, suitability, or functionality of the item.
- 7.3.6The seller has arranged for a refund or remedy for the buyer.
- 7.3.7The buyer has already initiated civil or criminal action against the seller or has already claimed the purchase price or any other sums to which the buyer may be entitled under any insurance policy.
- 7.3.8The items have been shipped to the buyer's specified delivery address, and the buyer, themselves, ships the items to another address.
- 7.3.9Items have not been delivered due to customs or postal delays, or the buyer has failed to collect the item.
- 7.3.10Items are collected by the Buyer or delivered to the Buyer in person.
- 7.3.11Items are lost, stolen, or damaged during the delivery process.
- 7.3.12The items purchased are equivalent to cash, including prepaid items, vouchers, or gift cards.
- 7.3.13The dispute relates to the market price of the item as indicated by the Seller in its advertisement.
- 7.3.14The items purchased are prohibited and/or illegal, regardless of the Buyer's knowledge.
- 7.3.15Fraudulent charges were made to a credit card. If you notice any unauthorized charges on your account, report them to your credit card company.
7.4 PROCESSING OF THE BUYER'S CLAIM
- 7.4.1Upon receiving the Buyer's claim, Megahome will review the information and documentation provided by the Buyer and may request further information or proof from the Seller and/or Buyer to adequately assess the claim.
- 7.4.2If Megahome determines that the item has not been delivered to the agreed place within the agreed delivery period or that the Seller has failed to refund or compensate the Buyer, and the Buyer has satisfied all other conditions stated in these terms and conditions under the Buyer Protection Programme, Megahome will refund the Buyer's Claim Amount in the form of cash voucher. However, the total Claim Amount shall not exceed Ringgit Malaysia Two Thousand Five Hundred (RM2,500.00) for each case.
- 7.4.3If, after reviewing the information/documentation, Megahome finds that the item has been successfully delivered or can be tracked, the Buyer's claim will be declined.
- 7.4.4Should the Buyer submit a claim regarding an item being non-genuine, fake, imitation, or counterfeit, the Buyer will be required to provide proof of such. Megahome may also request proof of authenticity from the Seller. If Megahome, at its sole discretion, determines that the item is non-genuine, fake, imitation, or counterfeit, and the Seller refuses to provide a refund or compensation equivalent to the purchase price, Megahome will reimburse the Buyer in the form of cash voucher. The Claim Amount shall not exceed Ringgit Malaysia Two Thousand Five Hundred (RM2,500.00) for each case.
- 7.4.5Megahome will not entertain or process any fraudulent, invalid, illegal, unscrupulous, abusive, malicious, or vexatious claims lodged by the Buyer. Such claims include, but are not limited to, lodging an excessive number of claims, colluding with the Seller to claim under the Buyer Protection Programme, lodging false claims, or filing a chargeback after receiving payment of the Claim Amount from Megahome.
- 7.4.6Any decision made by Megahome regarding the Buyer's claim under the Buyer Protection Programme shall be final and binding on both the Buyer and the Seller. There is no provision for appeal or review of such decisions.
7.5 PAYMENT OF THE CLAIM AMOUNT AND THE SELLER'S LIABILITY
- 7.5.1Should the Buyer be successful in their claim under the Buyer Protection Programme, Megahome will arrange for the Claim Amount to be issued in the form of cash voucher. The issued voucher will be equivalent to the Claim Amount, up to a maximum of Ringgit Malaysia Two Thousand Five Hundred (RM2,500.00), and can be used as payment for future purchases at any Megahome Exhibition.
- 7.5.2The cash voucher is non-transferable to other individuals and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
- 7.5.3Megahome is not responsible for the loss or damage of the cash voucher after it has been issued to the Buyer.
- 7.5.4The total Claim Amount under the Megahome Buyer Protection shall be limited to a maximum of RM2,500 per case. Therefore, the maximum value of the cash voucher shall not exceed Ringgit Malaysia Two Thousand Five Hundred (RM2,500.00).
7.6 GENERAL
- 7.6.1The Megahome Buyer Protection program was initiated and only applies to transactions starting from January 2022.
- 7.6.2There shall be only ONE form of remedy available to the Buyer. Buyers who have already received compensation in the form of a cash refund or product replacement from the Sellers or any third parties are no longer eligible to receive compensation under the Megahome Buyer Protection.
- 7.6.3Megahome cash vouchers given to the Buyer will be cancelled if the Seller or any third parties have provided any form of compensation to the Buyer during the validity period.
- 7.6.4Megahome's liability under the Buyer Protection Program excludes any liability for consequential or indirect loss or damage incurred by the Buyer or the Seller. This includes, but is not limited to, claims for loss of profit, revenue, production, business, contracts, or opportunities.
- 7.6.5By submitting any claim under the Buyer Protection Program, the Buyer agrees to indemnify Megahome against any liability arising from their breach or act or omission in the performance of any terms and conditions of the Buyer Protection Program. Megahome shall be held harmless from all costs, expenses, damages, claims, or liabilities, except for the issuance of the Cash Voucher strictly in compliance with the terms and conditions stated herein.
- 7.6.6Megahome shall not be liable to the Buyer or the Seller for any damages of a punitive nature or damages that are consequential, indirect, or result in a loss to the Buyer or the Seller. This includes no liability for damages such as lost profits, harm to reputation, loss of anticipated benefit, forbearance of other economic opportunities, insurance obligations, or the expenditure of money in anticipation of performance under this Buyer Protection Program, etc.
- 7.6.7KH Event Management Sdn. Bhd., Megahome, reserves the right to terminate the Buyer Protection Programme and/or amend these Terms and Conditions, including the limits of coverage, at any time without notice.
